Once again it's that time of year.:cool:
The new Madden came out today, and I got it and have been playing for a couple hours. Really nice and very different from last year. No speed burst (gasp for all of you junkies) but it is more realistic.

If any polkies want to play online on the PS3 post in this thread and we can get it rollin'.:D

    I'm going to have nightmares.

    I only played Madden 10 a few times with some friends. What's the biggest difference in the new edition?

    Its gotten to the point where I'll only buy a new Madden game every 2-3 years. Never enough improvement from 1 year to the next usually. I used to buy it every year but realized it was a waste of $60+

    Yeah. But somehow I find myself buying every Madden, NCAA Football, NCAA Hoops, and NBA 2K games each year.

    I agree. I used to buy the sports franchise games year after year but they just aren't worth it.

    I think I may take the plunge and buy this one.. ( I haven't bought a madden game since 2006). This one is purported to be more realistic as far as down field blocking and needing to follow your blockers at the line (versus just speed bursting to the outside and running upfield).

    And the games are supposed to be sped up a little bit to take <60min, which is nice.

    Seems like a solid addition this year, can't comment on the intervening years between 2006 and 2010 though =)

    Madden 2011 will be released for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.EA has released a couple of videos with the game’s developers telling the people what’s really good with the next entry in this legendary series.It looks as though Madden is a good.
