Alright, Pioneer project is under way. My new room over here is really dark so I am sorry for the dark pics. I tried my best. Anyways, the parts will be here around next week and this is how the cabinets and such look as of now

I have a general idea how to apply vinyl to this speaker setup for the easiest, best looking appearance...

However, I thought I would ask a few here for some help or suggestions, tips or tricks that would simply this project. All the parts should be here sometime this week and hopefully I can get these speakers to look good and sound good to. Thank you for all help.

Keep us posted, and keep the pics coming.

Did you order some drivers too?

    What I ordered -

    2 Rolls of vinyl wrap
    2 12 inch woofers
    2 5.25 inch midranges
    1lb of polyfill
    grill guides
i believe that is it, I may change out the terminals to gold plated binding post, but I dont find these speakers worthy of that upgrade as of yet...I might if they sound good...

I should have them near completed this weekend...so I will keep the pics step by step, thanks for the replys ;)

Here is from the back...i spray painted the back, it was like a brown carboard look before...

PS: The reason why the woofers are not here is because Parts Express try to cheat me out of them, say they were shipped, but were indeed not. They will ship out Monday. Just to clear that up.

Not a bad selection, assuming they are of the impedance the stock crossover is expecting, they appear on paper to be good matches for each other. One thing is for sure, it's going to be a VERY efficient speaker, shouldn't require much power to really get em going.

One thing that jumped out at me with the woof stats, make sure you use TONS of fill. I mean PACK it in, but try to maintain somewhat of a clear path to the port from the back of the driver.

    Keep us posted.

    Cheers,
    Russ
