Ahhh....'em good old day when you can turn a knob to change channels or wiggle the rabbit ears for better reception. Well, it's back!! At least in Korea :D

Check out this brand-new LG digital CRT TV that also feature a digital tuner, composite video input (you want HDMI?), and wireless remote....

    Awesome!

Now, take away the funny peg-legs, put the TV in an enclosure that you'd consider a piece of furniture, attach some pliers in place of the knobs and you're good to go!

I love crt ...... I remember going to bestbuy about 6 yrs ago and there was a stunning 235 aspect ratio crt and it looked soooooooooo cool

I would buy a high def crt if I could as they have great native contrast and smooth frame rate

Yes, nothing like a CRT in a nice piece of furniture  Don't waste a good pair of pliers, I'll provide the vintage knobs for it and you simply paypal the money ;) I knew there would be a good reason for taking shelf space in the worshop keeping that old vintage stuff (which has been considered garbage for the last couple decades).

I would too, the HT deserves a nice screen, the flat screen is perfect in the bedroom however, the living room would look spiffy with a nice furniture with a built in quality CRT that is loaded with the latest HD technology.

I wonder if anyone remembers the CRT TV that looks like a half moon? I'm not sure, I think it was made by panasonic, huge and a real beauty, all SS modules. I also had the priviledge to work on a Panasonic which was encased into a nice furniture which was also use as the entertainment center. I kept a nice Panasonic TV which is enclosed in a beautifull wood cabinet and the CRT is busted an probably no longer available. I was thinking I could encase a flat panel into it. Nothing beats a nice piece of furniture with built in CRT for the living room

I am sorry, that is one fugly TV bar none. Unless my house decor is set with fifties-retro theme.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

You still can't beat a CRT for picture quality.

I am not sure about that but I was shocked at the awesome picture quality of my 20 year old 19" Magnavox TV once I had it hooked up to a Insignia/Best Buy digital TV converter box and a powered indoor Terk antenna. OMG! That's the moment I decided to dump Comcast (or whatever they call themselves nowadays).
