    I get what your saying, and agree 110% saying I got this deal isn't going to help his sale. What I was saying is damn, I should get as many of these as I can find and eBay them. Well I am really not that bothered by his comments about me being full of it, now that I posted my scans. So I feel better. ;)

    I did not say is would never happen. And they are open box.
    Like I said send me some Polks at 80% off and I would gladly pay ya with profit to spare. I would like a couple cs400's at 80% off also. I live in a small town and when I travel I never see deals like this.
    The point is a guy was trying to sell speakers and is torn up because someone got them for hardly nothing. Not realistic.
    I say Ebay is a good place to see what things are going for used and rt38's are selling for over $200 thier.
    Stroonzo - chill dude. You got I great deal - but it is rare......

    LOL you guys are too funny. I picked up a full set RTi150's, CSi40, FXi30's and RTi38's for a total of $1044, open box(including tax I think). I never would have replaced my older Polks if I hadnt gotten a killer deal. Gonna sell off my old stuff to my uncle or brother (who ever comes up with the cash first) and have maybe $500-600 total in the upgrade. Just gotta remember, with CC you're definitely NOT going to find similar prices at any two stores.. lol. CC is the business model no company should follow!

    BTW, I didnt mean to post this to rib anyone... I've found most if not all people in this forum to be a wealth of information and honest to boot.

    I got your point and you'll have to excuse Scott. He has a condescending tone to most of his posts any more and it's just something you have to accept from him. It's not just you that he's balked at the pricing on. He does it all the time, and his delivery is mostly antagonistic. While he knows quite a bit about big screens (and will tell you his is superior in every way to yours), you just have to read past his cynical whiney stuff.............

    Brett your 1 out of 2 on my ignore list for about 6 months now. I have noticed you in the last couple days "tagging" my post. So I had to check it out and sure enough your *edit* talking **** about ME. You need to shut your *edit* mouth. The other guy on my ignore list finally "chilled" and I almost respect that. Since then I have been being more active on this falling forum and things are alot better. I have some good buddies on here..........

    I'm not getting into it between you and him, all I'm saying is you could make your point without all the four letter words. You know they will throw this into the HOS because of that and that's not fair to the rest of the folks who posted in this thread.

    Thanks scott! I wouldn't go as far as calling them stupid though. A lot of people are just uninformed. If you think about it, for $260, that is still a lot cheaper that what most people who own these kind of speakers paid for.

    Some say!!!!! I got my 35's from Crutchfield when they went on sale but I can't remember what they went for but they were not cheap. What ya using the money on next???????

    Got it scott, just wanna make sure no one gets that out of context and shoot this thread to the heavens again. Anyways, back to your question, the "next" is pretty much here. Got settled with a full set of LSi's. That is why I got to get rid of them RTi's coz the "replacements" are here to stay.
    Definitely an improvement from the RTi's even with my punny 4 year old 100 wpc Sony DB. I am shopping for a preamp and an amp right now so that I can power em babies properly. Been reading some old threads here and I am very much enlightened as much as I am confused with the plethora of options that I have. :D The only limitation is the $$$$... Maybe Santa is going to be good to me this year ;)
