Trade f/x 500i's for fxi30's

500i's are too large for where i really want to put them.
I bought these a few months ago off ebay they are almost mint except for a very small hole on the bottom edge of one grill(it could be easily repaired by lightly stretching the cloth and applying a dab of glue). The previous owner had them on speaker stands and there are some VERY LIGHT marks on the bottoms of the speakers. Speakers are black and it's not the woodgrain finish more of a solid vinyl look. Speakers will be shipped ups ground in their original packaging with paper work. Pic's supplied upon request.

If you have a pair of fxi30's in mint or near mint condition and are willing to SHIP YOUR SPEAKERS FIRST, reply and we will work out the details.
I work rotating shifts so don't spaz if I don't get right back to you.

    Please don't take this the wrong way, but a new guy with 2 posts needs to build a little bit of reputation around here before asking someone to do a blind swap. There have been some deals that went sour in big way around here so people are going to be gunshy about shipping to you first.

    I wouldn't hold your breath on this one.

    Just sell the FX500i's on Ebay, and buy a pair of FXi30's. This way is too much of a hassle for both parties.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    That's great, Polk's have no problems on Ebay. Have you bought the FXi30's yet? Still planning on that route?

    My local polk dealer wants an arm and a leg for a pair.
    Ebay....no current listings.
    I'm looking to avoid sales tax....tax sucks!
    Did you see the fire sale on csi40's on ebay today?
    The guys shipping was on the high side, but I snatched one up anyway.

    I hadn't caught that CSi40 sale...I'll take a look. If there is one SOB Polk speaker thats hard to get a break on, its that damn CSi40. Ugh...I also want to pick one up.

    I can understand your wanting to save a couple bucks, thats always a good idea. :)
