tweeter questions

i own a ls 90 speaker and i have a cs1000p i noticed the tweets are different can i change out the ls 90 tweets for the cs 1000p tweets the speakers are about 10 years old should i replace them any ways thanx for any response
Wish I was a polkologist then I could call my self Dr.warviper.

    I've got the 90's, but I don't have the 1000. I would have thought that the tweeter would be the same in both these speakers. I wouldn't see any reason to swap out tweeters unless one of them is bad. Polk sells replacement parts for 10 years after discontinuing the line. I think the 90's went out around 1995.

    if the tweets are different, then so are the cross-overs and you cannot substitute without sacrificing performance.
