sure, its a polk forum, but polk makes nothing in this price range anymore, and I have a feeling these are going to go for a mere fraction of their $10,000 retail (not sure where the guy got $7,000 from)
true Stereophile Class A
If I had the money at the moment I would be after them.. Oh well

That price is about right. Go for maybe $1500. Infinity pushed the hell out of these about 5 years ago. Crutchfield sold them for awhile. Not really that high end but a little pricey. They had only decent reviews. They quickly disappeared. Better speakers out there for the money.

i didnt realize crutchfield sold them, what were they asking?

At that level, Crutchfield was probably asking for your first born child....AND retail price.....hmmm, I know where one just became available
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
