. . . hmmmm is right. . . no problem in a joint effort here to have a small batch of these gems manufactured.

For both you and Larry; how's your ability to get great prices on delrin, brass, stainless steel (for pins, although I have a whole bag full of them), and working the composite material used in the internal spring? When I first had the clamps made I couldn't afford an injection mold so I had each individual part for each clamp machined. Any ideas on how you guys could possibly keep that cost down?

Another thought just hit me. I need to have a draftsman measure and create a new drawing as mine is now very illegible and I can't remember the sizes and tolerances of the parts.

    Fixed!

    Joe,

Most machine shops can take some simple measurements of your device and machine it. I think the bass collets are probably catalog items, the rest could be sketched out and a prototype built without too much effort. We do need a group think session on this.

I'm all for sharing this with the Club Carl. Any suggestions as to how we could get a dialog going with interested members, like conference calls or online meeting places?
