Take a look and see if you like anything. If so, look on www.audiogon.com for used ones at good prices or if you want new I can refer you to a dealer that sells them new at 50% off list.Political Correctness'.........defined

Hey F1, which ones do you own?
When it comes time for some new ICs you'll have to let me know about this dealer. It won't be for a while though.

Katya,
If you just want to get yourself started quickly you can use any old cables with RCA connectors at both ends. The cheap ones that manufacturers always include with their components can be used for your purpose.
In the long run I'd suggest getting some higher quality cables that are well shielded. Unfortunately, the interconnects on the ends of cables contribute the most cost to the cables. For example, a 1 meter pair of good RCA cables may be $40, while a 2 meter pair of the same type will be $50. I usually get the 2 meter length because the cost isn't much different and they can be used for longer reaches elsewhere if I decide to upgrade cables. -
Kayta,
You asked what brand for the BEST IC's, right? The generic patch cords that come with some gear are not the best. $40.00 IC's aren't either and the ends are not the major cost of cables. Perhaps if you gave your price range we could help you better.
Dave,
Shotgun S1's and I'd be glad to give you the info when you're ready.Political Correctness'.........defined

www.signalcable.com has some nice, modestly priced cables available. They are available in custom lengths.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

i have to seccond sigonal cable
the products are top notch i have 7 of the analog 2 with the bullets i have 2 digital cables and 1 vid cable. componet cable. it is huge and hard to work with but is a great cable. it is so thick but it looks good. i will be getting 1 for my x box and replaceing the rest of my cheap cables with them. -
Ganzo - I run damn near 100% Signal brand for the 5.1, and am very happy.
That component cable caused me issues also, it was so thick and heavy I felt uncomfortable holding it.
Frank offers the same cable, un-sleeved, if that's a factor, but I found a way to compensate.
