Rti-8s would match that center fine! The new speakers, A5s, have a mildly improved....but not much, tweeter and curved cabinets to, supposedly, better deal with internal air disturbances.

But, to be honest EVERYBODY IS 'CURVING' THEIR CABINETS THESE DAYS. I'm not sure that it's not just more of a styling fad? Those cabinets are NOT that BIG? And I've heard great speakers that are very boxy.

The A5s are a tad better, but I wouldn't sweat it, you'd be fine with the 8s.

444 dollars for a pair of Rti-8s..sounds like a good deal to ME!

However like the TSI series...the As are 'prettier'!

    Thanks cnh...

These are the ones I was referring to...

...would these work, for sure, with my CSi30?

I'm wondering if these will work as well as the new RTiA series -- would these RTi's work just as well with the CSi?

Not for nothing, but I think matching anything to the CSi30's gonna be kind of a crapshoot. I had the CSi30, which was supposed to match the RTi28s I had... but didn't really. They were also supposed to match the RTi70s, but there was an obviously different sound with voices from the CSi30. I ended up getting a CSi40 to replace it, which matched seamlessly with both the RTi28s and RTi70s.

Not that I'm saying that the CSi30 is a bad center channel... Just saying don't get too hung up on what it will match, because it honestly didn't perfectly match its original line. It should match up nicely to what others have recommended, and Audyssey on your receiver will mitigate any minor response differences beyond that.
    Equipment list:
    Onkyo TX-NR3010 9.2 AVR
    Emotiva XPA-3 amp
Polk RTi70 mains, CSi40 center, RTi38 surrounds, RTi28 rears and heights
SVS 20-39CS+ subwoofer powered by Crown XLS1500
    Oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray player
    DarbeeVision DVP5000 video processor
    Epson 8500UB 1080p projector
Elite Screens Sable 120" CineWhite screen
