I currently have an ONKYO 595 receiver for my HT setup.
I'm thinking of upgrading to either an Onkyo 701 or 800,
or the Denon 3803. I split my listening between music
and movies and I listen to a lot of 5:1 music. I'm also
thinking of getting a universal sacd/dvd player.
I've read some reviews that say Denon is better for music
than Onkyo. Any opinions on this would be helpful.
Does anyone own either the Onkyo or Denon universal
sacd/dvd player?
Thanks, Mike

Your in good hands with Denon......

I would choose the Denon avr3803.They also have a sweet DVD player in the dvd2900,it's Progressive/SACD/DVD AUIDO etc etc etc.

Denon and Polk rt series go together really well.Alot of guys areound here use Denon....all happy.

Go with the denon avr-3803 & dvd-2900. I own both of them and i'm very happy with it. I had onkyo tsr-600 before i upgrade to denon receiver. In my opinion & few others here denon receiver sounds good with the polk rti's. Onkyo was kind of little bright for me.
You can't go wrong with denon.
