    I was thinking the same thing! i did send the seller an email and told him I'd be interested in buying them if the sale fell through. I did find another pair on Audiogon and sent that seller an offer, I'm waiting not-so-patiently to hear from him.

    Simple search on recent bidding history with your id Frank, that's all. There are options for 'include completed items' and 'even if not high bidder'...both of which I set to 'Yes'.

    Damn Right!! Actually I'm going to break out the Dremel and polish 'em up. I saw a set in a local 50's memorabillia(sp?) store that had been highly polished and mounted on a 4' pole with a chrome base. They looked really sharp! The were up for grabs at a measly $295!!
