For sale is my Emotiva LPA-1 7-Channel Power Amp.
Info can be found here at the Emotiva website.
Cosmetically and functionally there is nothing wrong with the amp. It ships in its original packaging, along with the original power cable and a 3.5mm trigger cable, as well as the original docuentation.
Amp will be shipped FedEx Ground at BUYER'S EXPENSE from 01821. Usually I try to bundle cost in with price but this thing weighs in at 80 lbs and thus shipping rates can be significant and can vary quite a bit (between about 30 and 60 dollars depending on location). Local pickup is welcome and encouraged if possible.
Going price for these amps seems to be about 400 dollars, which I believe is what I paid for it. For Polkies, $375 (plus the aforementioned shipping). If people feel this is unreasonable please let me know.
Paypal, money order, personal check accepted; depending on your member standing I'll ship immediately, but if I don't "know" you I'll have to wait until payment clears.
Any questions don't hesitate to ask.

It's doggie approved!
He would not get out of the way while I was taking pics... I guess he doesn't want to see me part with my stuff. If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
This is a great amp. I've owned a couple. One of the best bargains per dollar out there.
But dang, man.. drag a dust cloth across the top before you take yer pics.
Seriously, though.. whoever buys this will be VERY pleased.
Good luck, bobman!"I did not slap you. I high-fived your face." -

I know, I realized that after I posted the pics.... I blame the flash. If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
Well, it's a fantastic amp.. and a great price. I don't expect it to be sitting there for very long. If I had a need, I'd be on it. Somebody snag this thing quick-like!

1. How much would shipping be to 11355?
2. How old is it?
3. Are you going to wipe the dust before shipping?
Technical question:
4. Would it be at all possible to somehow bi-amp using this amp? I have a 7.1 system and an Onkyo 805 and am thinking letting the receiver power the surround backs, change the setting on the receiver to bi-amp, then run pre-outs to the amp, then bi-amp the front speakers (I'm thinking connecting front speaker's tweeter to the surround backs since they are 50wpc each, so the bass driver can connect to the higher power front output...). Center and surrounds will be powered by the amp normally. Ideally I only want to get a 3 channel amp to power the front stage but this one is a good price...Onkyo 805, RtiA5s, Csi5, Rti6s -
1. Shipping would be 36 dollars to 11355.
2. I am not the original owner, BUT luckily the original invoice is still in there from Emotiva, and it is dated 3/5/07. So it is less than 3 years old.
3. Yes, I promise to clean it before shipping. Apologies again for the pictures; I really didn't realize how dusty it was until the pics were posted.
4. Hopefully someone else can answer this better than I, but I can't imagine w hy this wouldn't be possible. The amp has no concept of what it is driving; if you give it an input and connect a speaker it will drive it. If your Onkyo has a setting to bi-amp, I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work.If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -

Yes you could bi amp it but I don't think you will notice any difference only because the tweeter on your rti a5's don't need 125watts. Now if you had a speaker like the rti a7/a9 I think you'll notice a big difference because the top posts run the mids and tweeters while the lower posts run the 7" woofers.
Hope this helps -
bump for a nice deal

So let me get this straight; this is a:
125W x 6
or
125W x 5 + 50W x 2
(Just to confirm I haven't lost my reading comprehension).
Right?_________________________________________________

How much is shipping to 18434. If it's reasonable I will take it. I need something to drive my rear LSi F/X and rear center LSi 7's in my 7.1 system. It looks like this unit will put out 225 watts at 4ohms which should be acceptable in a home theater. My LSi 25 fronts and LSiC are run by a highpowered Carver. Maybe this combo would work out well. Let me know.Polk HT system 1: LSIC, LSI25 mains, LSI F/X rears, Lsi F/X rear centers,

Hey guys, if you want to know shipping costs, just head to the Fedex rate calculator and enter "from" 01821, 80lbs shipping weight.
For 18434 it's $36.60.
I only chose FedEx because they tend to be cheaper for heavier stuff (UPS for this same package would be $49 to 18434).If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
I will take it. PM me with your paypal address. Thanks.Polk HT system 1: LSIC, LSI25 mains, LSI F/X rears, Lsi F/X rear centers,

I just got the amp. It works real well with my Lsi surrounds. Just what the doctor ordered for my Lsi home theater, 3 channel Carver up front and Emotiva to handle the surrounds. Sweet. Thanks bobman.Polk HT system 1: LSIC, LSI25 mains, LSI F/X rears, Lsi F/X rear centers,
