Which of these Sharp LCD TV's is better?

Looking to get a 46" LCD and my budget is right at $1000 although I'll take any great deals below that too.

I've seen one at Wal-Mart of all places that actually looks really good and the specs seem good from what I can tell. Here it is at Sharp's website:
http://www.sharpusa.com/ForHome/HomeEntertainment/LCDTVs/LC46SB57UN.aspx

The other one I've found recently is a so called "Special Edition" at Costco:
http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11474655&whse=BC&Ne=4000000&eCat=BC|79&N=4041016&Mo=45&No=8&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&cat=74672&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&Sp=C&topnav=]

Does anyone have any experience with either of these or any input to help me figure out which would be the better set?

The one at Walmart is going for $1078 at my local store, so they are pretty comparable in price but Costco doubles the manufacture's warranty.

Thanks in advance for any help! :)

Are you opposed to shopping online and having it delivered and/or are you stuck on getting a Sharp? Seems like tigerdirect has some pretty great deals on LCD's...especially with Black Friday approaching.

Here.....Check out that price on the Mitsubishi 65"....Be aware that you could get dead pixels and if you dont have enough dead ones they will not exchange it.That to me is ****...1 dead pixel is 1 too many.I will only buy a tv from a store in my area and even have them test it right there..

    Hey,

I've seen some good deals on tvs all over, I think I might get a 50" 720p plasma because they're going for $650-$700 from a few places.

Is there a reason you chose 46"?

I chose 46" because that is all that will fit. I have about 44 1/4" width to work with.

I am a little hesitant to use an online store for this purchase. Most of them have very strict rules about returning large screen tv's and I'd rather not have to deal with the hassle or pay return shipping/restocking fees if I have a problem or just don't like it. With Walmart and Costco I can take it right to the local store.

No preference for Sharp. They seem to have really good reviews from what I've seen and these prices seem to be pretty good as well.

I've also seen what appears to be a great deal on a 46" Sony KDL-46V5100 at Sony Style and you get a free PS3 for $999:
    http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921665746338

Anyone have experience with this set? Also, does anyone recommend the PS3 as your sole source for BR and CD playback?

    Thanks!

I have experience solely with the PS3 gaming console, although not the version that comes with that package. I would def. recommend a PS3 for movies and music. I've been super satisfied but that doesn't mean much since I've got limited blu-ray player experience.

My PS3 has played 3 of the 5 blu-rays i've tried. The other two didn't register or whatever.

I have a Sharp Aquos 40 LCD. In HD the picture is pretty darn good, In non HD not soo good. I am trying different settings to find the right picture/color etc... Sound quality isnt so good, I usually watch in stereo for better sound. IMO
Good luck. Let us know what you decide and how you like it....
