    Joe, most commercial aircraft have wiper blades that are used when they are on the ground. Next time you board a bird take a look at the center-most windscreens and you will see them either above or below the window.

    As shown in the photo, they even give the homeless guy that hangs out in airports an access port to dump water on them to clean the windows.:D
