A comment on another thread mentioned that maybe vintage SDA ownership even among the ranks of Club Polk was not that significant. I know there is a lot of sentiment towards these speakers but I think it would be interesting to know exactly how many of these Polk Classics we own.

I think you can submit more than one vote...but if you have two of the same model range you may just want to post it.

I'll start...I have SDA 1Cs (wood caps)

In the poll I posted my current 1C's.
Thought I would throw out there that I also own a pair of 2.3TL's, and am trying to save another pair of 1C's from leaving the state.

You can click (vote for) everything you own...just not duplicate if you have 2 of the same thing. If you have already voted you can't go back though.

Modded 1C's later serial numbers with wood end caps.

They will never leave, unless I get a huge listening room and need a pair of the big boys. With the RD0's and Sonicaps and the proper gear driving them, set-up in a room as designed they are fantastic sounding speakers.

I sold so many pairs of 2B's and 1C's when these were new at the hi-fi store I worked at. I rarely had to say anything other than "sit right here". After the demo, it was an easy close. :)

I owned a number of SDA speakers in the past, but I currently own none, and I'm okay with that. I've discovered that I like the vintage Polk sound, but some times it can be a little too warm and not as precise as I would like. Plus, the ability to use common ground and non-common ground amps is a nice benefit.

    I've got a pair of 2A's, with RD0-194 tweets.

I'm considering doing some XO mods, but I think I'm going to hold off. I'd like to track down a pair of 1C's sometime next year...I'd rather wait and put the XO mod money into a pair of 1C's.

The 2A's will be going up for sale after I get some 1C's.

I only have the SDA-SRS 1.2's with upgraded tweeters. I've owned all the others except for the 3.2, 2b and early SRS. I sold them off only because my house was getting too crowded. They were all fine speakers. I will never sell the last pair, there must be at least one pair to listen to.
