WTB: bookshelfs

Looking to get my dad a pair of decent bookshelf speakers. I know CC is starting to blow some of their stuff out but thought I would check here first if anyone had any they were just sitting on and wanted to move.

    I have a pair of S4's you might be interested in. There in excellent condition (8/10). I'd say $50 plus shipping? I can get you pics if you'd like also.

    Chris - Post some pics just so we can see what they look like. What is the S4? I know they had a "S" series.

    That sounds like a good deal FGR41.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I said its 8 out of 10 rating. I deducted 2 points for: one sticker on back is gone and the other is peeling, and there is a tiny scratch on top edge of one. Here is a link to my gallery where you can find all the pics and you can see the original pic size to get a very close look at the speakers. These have absolutely know sound flaws. I never cranked them up. I am the original owner and I bought them about 10 years ago. I don't have the original box or manuel but I will ship them and package them extra careful and insure them w/ shipper of course. Let me know what you think. I wanted to keep them for the day I go to 7.1, but I don't see that happening anytime soon....especially with our 1st child on the way.:)

    Here are some small pics to look at here:

    Doro......I'm not sure about the specs of these speakers, but I think its a 1" tweeter and 6.5" driver. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

    FGR...I put magnetic buckets on the driver and tweeters so they can be place next to Television...just an F.Y.I.

    Can't figure out why pics don't come up here. But you can check 'em out on the link above. Thanks for the comment Doro. Yeah, I'm pretty proud of those bookshelfs. My very 1 st pair. I replaced just from hearing from everybody how important it is to match the fronts and center...so I got the RTi38's.

    They sport a 1" silk dome tweeter and 6 ½" woofer. 100 watt power handling - Freq response 50-23,000 Hz (-3dB).

    15 ½" high x 9 ½" wide x 7 ¼" deep
