    There are so many great lines in that ad it's hard to choose...

    They're factory direct, but filling up his garage?
    These being Polk specific manufactured of course sound amazing.
    Well, at least he he has a high opinion of Polks..
    The list price on these are $3,499.00. Polk Audio, with almost identical specifications sells speakers like these for over $3,000
    Ok, above they were Polk specifc, but now they're almost identical...

    But my favorite has to be...
    We could have the manufacturer put Polk Audio on them, and you wouldn't be able to hear the difference.

    Another interesting tidbit is that 3 of the 5 people who left "WOW" type comments....all mention Specifically!....a Sony subwoofer.

    I am sorry, but who in their right mind would buy a Sony subwoofer....I don't even know of a "push-pull" type subwoofer that they currently offer. PLUS, out of a whole world of buyers, 3 of them just happened to choose a Sony sub....thats just plain weird.

    EDIT: 2 of those people also mention M&K as another choice in speakers before buying these things.

    EDIT #2: Actually they do make a push-pull subwoofer, hmmm, it is new. I stand corrected, but it is still weird.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I think the Polk litigation department might be interested in this. This is obviously someone trying to scam people into thinking these are indeed Polk speakers.

    Some people will stop at nothing to scam people for a buck!
    As stated, they are factory direct. Sound Soltuions is not a Polk dealer, thus we cannot say they are Polk, when in fact, they are still from one of their manufacturing plants using their technology and specifications. We could have the manufacturer put Polk Audio on them, and you wouldn't be able to hear the difference. But we can't do that for obvious legal reasons. Being factory direct, you get the same speakers for much less due to avoiding extra markups.

    Obviously this guy is saying that Polk manufactures the speakers for him in one of their plants. This guy is just opening himself up to a lawsuit! How f-ing stupid can you be!

    aside from the seller scamming that these are polks, and all the bad stuff, he has good feedback(if its all real) and that's not a bad price for "cheap" speakers.. shoot me for saying that.. and anybody looking for "POLK" speakers knows they would say polk and look like the store models, hense he is scamming people who don't know what polk looks like in the first place, PLUS you guys told polk about him already and i guess they couldnt do anything about it ot they would have.. he/she is a wood be internet scammer and it only shows on his/her reputation...

    About half is feedback is from his Buying on ebay, most of rest is selling these speakers.

    Micah got on this the last time this seller was spotted. More than this seller being in trouble, I would think Polk's manufacturer would be, if in fact they are producing a side line of speakers to Polk specs. I have to believe that their contract woth Polk would prohibit this.

    Also have to add that while we all know there is serious mark up in audio, I can not believe that Polk approved parts can be assembled and sold at a profit for this ridiculous price.

    Our conclusion last go-round was this the "white van" pulling into ebay...

    Polks manufacturer is...Polk Audio. They design them here in Baltimore and their plant in Mexico makes them. They don't have (to my knowledge) a manufacturer that is subcontracted out that makes the speakers, aside from the ring radiator tweeter.

    This indeed is a pure scam! Hope Micah or someone higher up nails this crook!
