I am selling this AMP to fund a new pair of MIT speaker cables. I bought this AMP off ebay knowing it had issues, lettering partially rubbed off and with scratches.

I was going to use it to drive my center channel.

It was serviced on June 5, 2009 by Rolland at Hi-Tech Audio.

He has just serviced my TFM-45 and will arrive tomorrow. I decided to sell the 55X to help fund a pair of 15' MIT S3 shotgun speaker cables.

Boxed it will weigh about 30lbs and will ship from 75074. I prefer to use FEDEX but will ship whatever method the buyer perfers and must be insured.

$500 plus shipping plus paypal fee.

Here are pics of the amp in my rack and after tomorrow I can take pics of the back if requested. It is a great amp but I want to round out my cables with MIT S3 SGs and the speakers are the last required.

    Someone buy this. A recapped Carver will last for years. $500 is the average price for this amp before going through service. Carver + SDAs is a very nice combo, if I say so myself :D. Also, it will tame RTis.

    Sandworm, what can I do to turn that tempted into sold ? I might have some spare ICs or include a pair of AQ Type 4 12' speaker cables i will through in the sweeten the deal if you pick up the paypal fees. Bananas on both ends. One end has spades with bolt on bananas.

    The AQs would ship at my cost once I receive my MITs.

    Yeah, just noticed he already has AQ T4 speaker cables on his 10s.

    If it don't sell here I will just put it back inservice driving my center channel. While it is a bit of overkill it does give the center a better more authoritative presence.

    I have more into this AMP that I am selling it for and that does not include the shipping from when I bought the AMP and round trip to and from Rolland.

    I have Two of Carver TFM-55x and they can push serious power into any speakers. Since it's serviced recently, you have peace of mind that it'll be performing without trouble.
