I'm interested in buying a pair of small Polks, mainly in the R10, RT15 sizes. I have been checking Ebay but thought I'd give my business here instead, seems the right thing to do!

If anyone is looking to offload a pair please let me know. I'm getting an office system, albeit very small, together and need some speakers.

The WAP means a tight budget with this so I'm trying used.

If no-one responds in 4-5 days I'll get the hint.

Thanks guys!

If you don't find anything here check out your local CC. They are starting to blow out their current Polk lineup and I'm sure there will be some good, cheap bookshelves either on clearance or open box items.

Good Advice, I just got back from my local CC and picked up an open box pair of RT25i's for $95. Cheaper than what they were selling a pair of R15's new.

I have heard of CC selling speakers cheap. Only two things though.... With the new ceiling we are putting in the basement office I only have about 12-13" max height for speakers. They will be going on top of the computer desk. Two, CC is about an hour and a half away, and that's the closest one. With the way I am working right now, 10 hours/day and Saturdays, going out that far isn't high on the agenda since the kids and wife need time as well.

Oh well, guess I'll have to go to Ebay.

    Thanks anyway!

You could also try WWW.Crutchfield.com and see if they'll match CC's internet sale prices.

I would be very suprised if Crutchfield price matches, they are not a supporter of that program. They claim that their customer support and company policies far outweigh any price advantage from competitors...blah blah, they are great in my book either way.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Frank - I really think that they should adopt some kind of major chain, price matching...they could sell much more equipment, I would imagine. I am not in any way affiliated with that kind of business, so maybe there is just more to it than price matching, I don't know. Damn them!

On their website they sold the RTi70 for 600, and 800 in the store. I was about to do a price match on their own advertisments......dumbanuses....
