All prices are include lower 48 shipping, Fedex ground insured. Will ship on THIS Wednesday for any commitments before then. Forced to use or loose vacation time this week from Wallyworld, so trying get enough together to get me and my babe (yeah, she's HOT) to the beach (if there is any left in Galveston). Pics later tonight - of the gear, not her.

First up, Dodd Audio Levitator. It's a platform for your preamp /cdp / etc, that actually levitates (hence the name) on a set of very strong opposing magnets. Only about a dozen or so were made, and I'm going to hate myself for this later. $200

Next, Black Diamond Racing Pyramid Cones - Mk3. 3 cones, original box, these WORK, used under cd players and d/a converters in several setups over the past couple of years. GEORGE

Up for grabs, Signal Cable Ultra Bi-wire, 6ft pair, banana ends. Great cables, great sound. DOUG

Debussy LA MER - The Sea / Boston Symphony Orchestra, Charles Munch RCA Victor SEALED xrcd2. I forgot I had this one, and didn't want to be the **** to open it, you can be that **** for RICARDO.

Finally (for now), AMC CD8B single disc player. Digital coax output, internal 24 bit Burr Brown d/a, Phillips transport. Low hour 'spare' unit I forgot I had. Comes with remote, I MIGHT have an original box in the garage. $75 Dave? Bueller?

Cheers,
Russ

EDIT - Dodd pics attached, looks better than photographed, piano finish on base, and plexi floating shelf don't work well with flash. Cones on bottom, floated with about a .5 inch space with a 25lb bag of shot, just barely bottomed out with two bags, so she's probably good for anything around 35lbs or less.
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

Ahh, just read the "entire" desc.

And yeah Ricardo you mess with my bro.........you mess with me :D:p.

Be sure to let us know (RAS) in advance before you sell the Gallo's......still want to make a road trip to your place this summer to hear your gear and visit. The Gallo's make it just that much more enticing.

Sure. I will sell them in 20 years. Is that enough advance notice?

You guys are welcome to come any time. Maybe on the way to Polkfest? If the latter, don't forget to rent the RV with the biggest bar!!!!

If diesel prices are low, then renting an RV to make the trip is tempting. We wouldn't have to rent hotel rooms, we could just park in Troy's driveway!

OK, someone buy the rest of Russman's stuff so he can take the little lady to the beach!

No 24's anymore, two pairs of 17's, but I think big dumb has a pair spoken for already, and if I didn't keep one pair, I might develop some sort of audio disorder.

Star, your pics are in the original post. Let me know, you've got about a half dozen hungry Polkheads behind you, and they smell blood.

Cool. Picked up a pair of 24s the other day and while googling them at the thrift store, came across your name on another forum... small world.

How in the world do I hook these up? I'd like to avoid using the 18ga tiny wires from radio shack to RCA.

I don't know if anyone else has either heard from or received items from Russ, but he's been pretty much incommunicado since the day I made payment on 07/20. If you read above, he said that he'd ship things out on Wednesday the 22nd. Then later he said he'd be sending items out on Saturday the 31st. Well it's now August 10th and I still have no package from Russ. After multiple attempts to contact him via PM, I finally gave up and bought an alternate solution for vibration control.

So this means that the Dodd Levitator can go to someone else. I'm sure Russ will refund my money, although the only means I had to move forward was to file a Paypal dispute. Hate to do that to a fellow Polkie, but when someone doesn't respond to PMs...

Not sure what's up with Russ, but this transaction has been a disappointment.

Something must have come up. I 've bought from Russ before and always received the goodies. I'm sure that he will respond when able.He was most likely "pulled" away for some reason,I'm sure that everyone will receive their items.I bought the BDR cones from this sale, and while I have not received them, I'm not concerned, but whatever it is, hope he's ok.I'm sure that you'll hear from him.:)
JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

blakeh, just wait a little longer. You will get your item and no need to file a PayPal dispute. I missed out on the BDR cones that George D. bought, and Russ was kind enough to send me a goodie for free!!! He is probably busy and will respond soon.

    No worries from me...

I hate to say this but Blake is right. Probably all of us have bought something from Russ before, and we know he's usually the best seller, but whatever is going on with him right now is not letting him complete the sales as expected.

I certainly hope he's ok, but this is just not right.

To those who feel he's just backed up, I can say this is round two. There was another member who waited around 6 months on a previous sale. I have no doubt whatsoever that Russ is not out to intentionally abscond with the money. However, he and Mark set the bar very high (in the past) when it comes to FM sales that this is disappointing and one loses confidence in future sales.

I too hope all is well with Russ, but I've noticed in the past 6-9 months he's mostly been MIA (atleast publicly) and ironically the most activity I've personally seen from him is a couple sale threads.

That's my .02c and normally I wouldn't say much, but Blake is my brother and we are both a little perplexed at the whole situation, especially the lack of communication.

Russ, are you going to ship the AMC anytime soon? I think I have been pretty patient on this one with friendly PM reminders every 5 or 6 weeks.

We aren't talking a whole lot of money, but I did pay almost 5 1/2 months ago..
