Hey Polkies,

Have not been around much..been lurking on/off around here lately and although I've noticed some changes 'round here, things still seem the same.:D

Anyway, it's been an up and down ride this past few months, as a result I haven't been posting much lately.

My 2nd daughter was born on 12/3 during which my mother was battling the last stages of lung cancer; Mom passed not too long after on 12/20. Goes without saying, seeing the two ends of the spectrum is a humbling experience.

Just wanting to stop in and post, while enjoying some down time.

Hope all is well folks. Cheers

Wow, must be a little hard coping between the 2, one is a joy while the other one is a sorrow. Congrats for the 2nd daughter and sincere sympathy for your mom.

Yep,, but there was a period that I wondered if it was,, but someone told me long ago,,that,, girls always come back to their Dad,, and they were right,, mine are in their mid twenties, and we are all very close,, kinda like when they were little,, hell my eyes light up every time I see them,, which, fortunately ,is often. Oop's sorry for the derail,, kinda' got a little,,eh,, sentimental..

It would seem that in return for the gift of knowing that her granddaughter was born, your mom gave someone in your family the gift of insight. I wouldn't be surprised if you don't know who that someone is.
