I bought his DA4ES... 1 channel of the 7.1 (right back) does not work. I called him and he said when he got back into town, he would call me and square it away as he understood that I bought a 7.1 to get 7.1 and he should have tested the 2 "back" channels and we would work it out. He never called nor has he answered any of my emails since then. he was all over my emails when we were talking about buying, now.. MIA. Next, I turn to me CC company and PP to let them square it away as I have tried several calls and numerous emails with no response.
-
Still no response. I have filed a dispute with Paypal. I will give it another few days before turning it into a claim.
This is really sad. Does anybody have a phone number for this guy?!?
I have his phone number, but I do not have enough posts to PM you so maybe PM me (?) or leave an email here and I will shoot it to you ASAP. -

What a punk
As much as it hurts to be out the money, let's remember he is going thru a divorce and it can truly mess you up.
I don't think he is a punk, just not following thru on promises. No need to call names... (Unless you are personally out money.. heheh just kidding!)Honoured to be, an original SOPA founding member

No I agree that one should never screw people even in the worst situations.. and once you lose the power of your word it's nearly impossible to get back.
However, I know a little about the hardships of divorce and separations and sometimes it does mess with your head.
Again, I am not condoning what he has done. I will never do business with him again... however sometimes a little slack can go a long ways in helping people thru tough situations.

I have been following this thread since the start and while everyone has good reasons to be choked at this guy's behavior, I like your attitude and wisdom through this. When this thread started, you could see the compassion in most posts... a good reason for feeling bad about what you guys go through! Every time I see this thread pop again, I just hope this guy would show-up on the net, take is responsibilities and pay is dues. However, when thinking about it, no one really know what really happened to him... maybe the worse???Again, I am not condoning what he has done. I will never do business with him again... however sometimes a little slack can go a long ways in helping people thru tough situations.
Cheers

good luck.. I am in this step right now but as PP will tell you, if there is no money to recoup from their account, your SOL. sometimes, if the amount is low enough they will just pay you themselves and eat it to save you as a customer. but in larger purchases like we did, don't count on it unless he has money in his PP account, but he likely transfers it out the same day.. so I do not have high hopes. -
Isn't PP suppose to be a protection for both the buyer and seller? Otherwise what is the sense of paying for that service???? I sure hope if PP doesn't give you your money back that you discard PP and make sure the bad reputation floats all over the net!!! What is the sense of paying gouging fees for this crap if it is totally useless??????????good luck.. you think this would be the first situation someone had with PayPal that ended badly? You do realize they're not governed by the FCC... Not a lot to do about this other than hope and pray.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

Someone needs to contact the local law enforcement wherever this guy lives. Have them track him down and go knock on his door. Theft by deception, fraud, or whatever you want to call it, this scumbag is breaking the law!

PP only offers protection for ebay purchases. Trust me. I also found out the hard way. -
Scary! I guess business is business, those people are there to make the money, not loose I guess they don't care about our problems! Again, what is the meaning or use for their existence!PP only offers protection for ebay purchases. Trust me. I also found out the hard way.DARE TO SOAR:

Not true............e-bay purchases have the most comprehensive protection. Purchases outside e-bay have limited coverage. One would need to read the on-line policies to determine what and how a transaction is covered.
Of course there are situations where one could be SOL despite published policies.
