I e-mailed him and asked for pictures. We'll see what happens.Tour2ma: Note to self: Talk to Justin about changing jtc's rank to "part-time, distant, **** second cousin, Polkie"...

JT, did you get any new info on the 1.2's?

This guy is next to impossible to get a hold of. I've sent him no less than five e-mails. He responded to the first one and sent me some pictures that don't reveal a whole lot (the lighting isn't great and one of the shots is with the grill on! Of the three shots, you can't tell if they're all of the same speaker or not. No shot has them both in it. The shot with the grill off on the one -- it seems like the drivers are ok -- but who knows about the other speaker). I also asked him about the condition and he says they work fine but it would be nice if he'd pick up the damn telephone. He also told me he'd send more pictures which I haven't gotten yet. (two days ago) They look like they have the walnut finish.
I own a pair of the original SDA SRS (1986 version) and I'm seriously thinking about buying his and upgrading but I wish he was a lot more responsive. If I could work something out, I'd wind up selling my originals.
Oh well..... life goes on!
I also note that he's added a reserve price. Seems like there wasn't one originally. They're up to $1,225 currently. Given all of this, I wouldn't do anything with this guy unless it was face to face which I suppose is easier for me to say, since that's how I'd do it given that I'm only six hours away from Cinci.Tour2ma: Note to self: Talk to Justin about changing jtc's rank to "part-time, distant, **** second cousin, Polkie"...

Maybe you know this but they sold for $1,952.00.
Comments on the price.....

The price is right. Great speakers!Political Correctness'.........defined

I didn't even get a shot. MY ISP (Adelphia PowerLink) crashed with four minutes left. By the time I got a dial up connection, the auction was over. There will be others, just probably not so close. The guy would never call me although he did send me some better pictures a few hours before the auction ended. It looks like they were TLs which really makes me mad. Someone got a good deal.   :mad:Tour2ma: Note to self: Talk to Justin about changing jtc's rank to "part-time, distant, **** second cousin, Polkie"...
