MM2104 Question

I have two Polk MM2104's and I know they are rated at 300 watts RMS. Are these numbers underrated, and if so what RMS can I safely run them at?

    i have a little over 600 watts RMS running into them, and the hit insanly hard and are very loud to where i can feel my hair vibrating, what kinda car are u putting them in, because u may not need as much power as u think

    The safest thing to do is to run 300 watts each to them.

    However, so long as you use common sense with the gain setting and in using the volume you can run more.

    I agree with 300 watts RMS. You will see amplifiers underrated and that is godd but for the most part speakers RMS figures are not. Although you have a max rating that gives you some play. Besides when listening to music you never realy know how much power have but it is usually less than you think. Go with more power just make sure you listen to distortion free music.

    most of the time the RMS is underated but I wouldnt go much higher than that
