Does anyone here know how to re-set an Onkyo 800 receiver to it's default settings? Something's got screwed up with the DSP functions and I'd like to revert back to the way it was out of the box.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Usually there is a microprocessor reset function that wipes out all screw-ups and resets everything to the factory defaults.

In my 3803, you have to unplug it, and then plug it back in with the power button held down until the display flashes continuously (or something like that).

The oink probably has a similar deal - check the OM or call tech support.

This is for the Oink TX-SR600, but it may also work for you:

Hold down the VIDEO 1 button with the unit turned on and then press the STANDBY/ON button. The word "CLEAR" may appear on the front display and the unit enters the standby state.

    Let me know.
