Oh I know. It's more of the fact that after purchasing and fixing the 10's, I has no more moneyz :( Or I'd definitely get them. I just posted earlier how I have been wanting to hear what SDA is all about.

I have a pair of 10s (my son now uses them) and black SDA 2B studios (sound familiar?) that have been TLed. The 10s are very nice speakers, the SDA are in a different league. You can get most of the $200 by selling your 10s to a lucky Polkie, and later upgrade the SDA's to something wonderful (they're already very nice).

A common ground amp is needed for the SDA effect, right? How can I tell if my Sansui G-9700 is common ground?

According to Polks literature, almost all of the more common brand hi-fi stuff is common grounded. If its not, there's usually a sticker somewhere on the unit that warns you it's not.

Picked up pair just like them tonight with cable. Sweet speakers, good luck with the sale. Your price is more than fair for the pair. If you dont mind, what direction are you going with your next purchase?
