Ok guys my local BB store has a pioneer kuro 60209 (LAST ONE).
I offered them 2,800 otd and they went for it.

I don't know much about this tv but they told me that they were once sold
for over 5gran.

So please let me know if you would buy this tv at the price I offered them.

Thanks for any opinions

I'd offer 2500 and go from there. It's Best Buy, go for the low ball man. Sounds harsh but I'm being real. They won't miss a couple of bucks.

They wanted 3,400 It's brand new in the box. They will not go lower I tried. Do you think 2,800 is to much for this tv?

Does that model number mean this is a 60" plasma? If so 2800 is not a bad price at all!

It's a 60" Kuro. Whatever you do, that TV (so far) will get you the best picture. Period.

$2800 clams for a 60" Kuro plasma is not bad at all. I was looking into getting a Panasonic 65" plasma a few months ago for around $2500, but the Kuro's have the best picture out there right now. Even if they are discontinued, it still sells for anywhere from $4000-$5000 from a handful of E-Tailers.

+1 with Jeff. The black level of the Kuros are considered some of the best out if not the best. If they will not go any lower then I'd probably still do it. 2800 for a TV that normally sells for 4k is a steal.

I don't think you could do much better for the price, IMHO. Good luck and let us know what you think of it all hooked up.

Man, I cannot find any 60" Pioneers anywhere online for near this price, let alone very many Pioneers at all. I called both BBs near me and they both said they do not carry them any more...

Pioneer is pretty much done with TV's IIRC, the Kuro line has been discontinued, which is why you can't find them around much anymore. Link below, Pioneer officially left the TV market in March 2010.

Awesome, you did very well to get that TV at the price you did. Enjoy and report back once it is all hooked up.
