I didn't know about this tech until last weekend at my friend's house, who has a ButtKicker Tactile Transducer. I love the "feel" of it, even more than the "sound" from the sub.

I researched more and there are so many out there. So, suggestions/discussions anyone? any of you use it? which brand do you prefer?

I prefer a good subwoofer. The motion after a time is tired

I had 2 of those mounted on the underside of my couch in my HT rig at one time. I had them running off a Dayton sub amp. Very effective and the chicks really dug em' :D

I'm running a Buttkicker LFE with my SVS 20-39CS+. The subwoofer itself can vibrate the room, but the Buttkicker is dialed in so it just barely brings up the bottom end. My floor is carpet on concrete, but the Buttkicker makes it feel like wood flooring.
    Equipment list:

    Emotiva XPA-3 amp
