Any one out there have any good stories about scoring speakers, gear, etc that college students throw out at the end of school year?
I live in proximity to 4 colleges & universities that are all getting ready to break for the summer. During this period over the last couple of years I've always been amazed at how much stuff gets thrown to the curb. I found a great old dresser that had to be some kids parents or grandparents dresser. It was in great condition. It was just sitting on the street so I snagged it. I'll be scouring Craiglist too.
I'm hoping this year I might stumble on some hi-fi stuff.
