All looks? This is right price for me, and local. Looking for something with a full sound w/o subwoofer. Seems a little weak power wise -250 watts max. Room is 24x20 - gear is below in my sig. Would love ot hear thoughts. Are these all for looks, and not sound?

Look awesome. Never heard of them. Personally I would not send that much money to someone with 20 feedback. I guess there is paypal 's buyer protection? I would pick up locally with cash, and ask to look and listen beforehand. Anyone else actually heard of these, or heard them?
Thanks,

Those look like a pick-up type of speaker since they're 55 lbs. each. They do look cool as can be and worth it to me if they sound good. How many can be proud owners of speakers like those works of ART.
Maybe see if you can speak directly with him/her and get a feel if you want to continue with the thought of buying them from him/her since the sales record is low. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
Put some arms on those and you've got two pretty good looking ROBOTS! lol

Here is some more information on these speakers. http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_10_3/artistic-audio-mobius-speakers-9-2003.html
Apparently they are getting rave reviews. Large soundstage, great imaging, etc. I'm guessing the omni-directional effect allows for the large sweet spot - trying to get it to have everywhere in the room be a sweet spot. Everything I've read about these is VERY favorable. Any further comments about these, or even about any speaker SIMILAR in structure as these (Omni directional)?

Many omni-directional types lack a solid center image like conventional speakers. If you are used to a rock solid center image and other cues within the soundstage then omni's may not be for you. Omni's allow for better off axis sound, but lack precise imaging. It's a trade off. For me personally I always listen in the sweetspot and omni's just didn't do it for me.
They also tend to loose depth within the soundstage, not that the image is flat...........just more diffused or cicular..........if you get waht I'm saying. Sort of like some sounds come out of nowhere, etc. Not like SDA's whihc has a very anchored center and front stage but then certain sounds seem to come from nowhere............Omni's are different than SDA's. SOrt of a "wall of sound" if I'm getting my point across.
If you can get your ears on them. You may like them.

In your experience, are they picky with placemetn. Looking at them, it almost seems like they should be in the middle of the room, with the sound moving throught the entire room from a central focal point. How do they work near walls? Ever experience an echo type effect, cause that would annoy the hell out of me. Also, these are rated at 250 wpc max at 8 ohms. Just seem not very powerful. Comments?
Thanks for the info!
