I've been following this story since this past Friday. See http://abcnews.go.com/WN/anger-mom-adopted-boy-back-russia/story?id=10331728 . To recap, this woman adopts a Russian orphan, can't handle him and sends him back to Russia.

To me, WTF???? This is child abandonment and she should be put into jail. This woman was the legal parent of the kid. Once they are yours, hassles and all, be it you biologically had them or you adopted them. I do not care if the woman says she was misled re. the kid's behavior. Unlike a biological parent, you have the opportunity to check the adopted kid out advance.

At the end of the day, an adopted kid is yours as if it were borne by you. Current and future issues and all. I side with the Russians being outraged on this one. It is hoped that this woman goes to jail.

Great message to the world. We should be proud.

So what about people who birth their own children? Can't put them back in the oven and there's already too many kids up for adoption as is.

And what's her defense going to be? The kid was just a foreign exchange student?

WTF is right! What a selfish, self centered waste of humanity. Plus I'm sure it affirms the thoughts to the Russians and the world that we are a bunch of lazy selfish people! UGH!!!

If we would just legalize 19th trimester abortions this wouldn't be an issue.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
