My wife liked that Corsair video. Far and away her favorite aircraft of all time."I drank what?" Socrates

I had the rare treat of doing a system install at Lakenheath RAF, UK, which is home to a pair of operational Spitfire fighters and an operational Lancaster Bomber.
During our install, the Spitfire took off and did a practice routine before departing for an airshow.
I literally got choked up watching those planes fly their routine...to hear the thumping power of those Supermarine engines was incredible!
Then, to see the Spitfire and Lancaster take off, in formation....chills baby...chills.

I believe the Spitfires flew with the legendary Roll-Royce "Merlins"... Knowing the sacrifices made by the men that flew the old warbirds, I get choked up just looking at them. Right you are...Supermarine Aviation Works was the maker, Merlin was the engine.

I love airshows and airplanes! Here's an F-18 from the Oregon Air show last year. The air conditions were perfect for making some vapor cones. These are created by the F-18 going as close to the breaking the sound barrier without actually breaking it. The air basically cannot move out of the way fast enough and the body of the F-18 causes these vapor cones to form around it. They are amazing to see!

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
