SDA 1B Crossover for a Custom Center Channel

I am looking to build a custom center channel out of all the drivers out of an old pair of SDA2B's.
Does any one have a used 1B crossover laying around for cheap?

Will it work without the Interconnect Cable like my 2.3tl's do?

My plans are to remove all the drivers from my 2b's and build a custom center channel with the same cubic inches from a single 1B.

Any help is appreciated.

That won't work at all. If you want a large, timbre matched center, look at the larger monitors(10, 11, etc...) or RTA series(11, 15).

I'm getting ready to build one out of a RTA8T to match my SDA-2B's. I need to research and see if it can be upraded to the TL status.

I thought that my SDA-2b's had the same drivers (MW6510). Man I was wrong they have (MW6503) and (MW6511).
Darn I just sold an old pair of monitor 10'bs.
Is there a huge difference between SDA-2b's vs 2.3tl's drivers? I am planing on installing 2 SL3000 from my 2.3tl's and not using the SL2000's from the 2b's.

For a center channel, keep it to a single tweeter unless you need the additional power handling.

I agree, what about the monitor 12's crossover?
Any one with an extra??

I like the idea of using a RTA 15t that would be one hell of a center if you have the space.
