Got off work around 6pm on Friday, headed to the lake with the new lady friend and her folks and my two girls... camped out, ate some smores, played Frisbee, and watched the fire die as we talked into the hours of the night... then on Saturday morning we drove around the lake in her Jeep, top down. Loved the 70 degree weather! Watched some fish feeding crazy carp, spotted an amazing eagle's nest with a baby eagle inside... then dropped my girls off with their mom...

Saturday night went on a double date to Power and Light, had some great food at a little hidden restaurant, "The Cigar Box." Then danced the night away, and had late night taco bell before crashing together...

Spent the morning laying around, then took the girls to the trail where my lady and myself rollerbladed and the girls rode their bikes... (Ok, so they had to be pushed half the way, but still a good time.)

Got my last rental property rented and signed today, then got a phone call that my contract was accepted on a new house tonight too! Close in a couple days (Cash deal! Yah!)

...and that, my friends... was a fantastic weekend.

Life is good. I am really looking forward to this new chapter ahead of me :)

:D Just wanted to brag about the amazing weekend I had. :D

You sound 'hopelessly romantic'...and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that! Except for us older farts that is--we've lost all that.

    Sounds nice...

That's awesome Bro. See how things have turned around from the despair you were feeling a year or two ago . . . God bless ya pal, life is good and can be fickle.

Yes, it is amazing what two years can change. Keep a steady path and eventually headway will be made.

Hopeless romantic? Maybe so :) but at least she likes it and reciprocates back to me!

    Here's to another great week!

    Cheers!
