Found this one interesting.....especially the 'ultrasonic' side of it, and our past discussions of 'extended range' (>20Khz) drivers.

    BTW, we are doing similar stuff in the wireless world using what is called Smart Antennas. These antennas are much like the phased array radar systems that don't require a spinning dish. The radio frequency energy is literally directed toward the end user by means of maximizing power, phase and multipath. Really cool ****!

    Nice read... but reminds me again of how old I am... I can remember when high frequency "beaming" was a bad thing. :)

    To have true sonic impact, don't you have to actually move air?
