Paradigm CC390 compared to CC690
Hi, guys!
How are all of you?
As always I come to you guys for advice on what will be a better purchase.
I currently have the Paradigm Studio 100 v4 with the Paradigm CC390 center.
The center sounds awesome, but I was wondering if the CC690 will give me better sound quality and more detail for HT?
The voices in the CC390 are very clear but I was just wondering how it compares to the CC690.
Does the CC690 have a better frequency response than the CC390?
Will the midranges sound better on the CC390 as it has two dedicated midranges compared to the CC690 which only has one?
Which one produces clearer voices?
If you guys can please chime in
Thanks
Fernando

the CC-690 is much larger and makes my 'no replacement for displacement' logic happy.
I have heard both. They both sound awesome. I have made no direct comparison. I heard the 390 actually and liked it quite well, but it was in a demo room so I was slightly skeptical, then listened to the extremely large center speaker in the monitor line, and decided on the 690 for the hell of it. My LSiC never did it for me and since I partially blamed the size and surface area of the drivers I wanted something ginormous. My Iron Man training/charity blog.
