These are not mine, but if I lived closer, they would be. Seller lists some issues, but at the asking price, I don't think any of them would be deal breakers.

Who's going to get them?

Can you put new surrounds on the PR?

The tear in the passive sucks, if one had one on hand you would be good to go.

Wow good find, 5/10 condition but who cares, for $775 I'd buy them right now.

I wonder what my condition level would have been?

Wow! Those were shreaded, but they look good now!

The picture on the gon is poor, but I don't see any obvious signs of a huge rip in the passive surround. Although not perfect, some sort of adhesive repair might be possible.

That's an absolutely 'stellar' price for those and this guy sounds like he really knows what he has there.

Now one of you guys with those 'rich and famous' houses with the HUGE Living room that's as big as a house and has 15-20' ceilings and also lives in Ca needs to snap these up. As for me, they are too far away and way too big! I don't have a house that could do 1.2TLs justice. But I KNOW some of 'you' do!

I repaired a tear in a rubber surround on a friends sub with a little vulcanizing glue from a tire patch kit. I will not swear that it didn't change the dynamics of the speaker but it worked very well well. It really depends on the tear and how much glue you have to use.

I've used that window seal tape for vinyl window instalation and it IS really lightweight. Super strong and plyable too. I only use a little strip so it weighs practically nothing.

I would still take them... they are a good value up to about 1200/1300 rangewith the work they need. If someone was local on these, I might stretch to 1500.

I think we need to start an "unofficial" Club Polk rule here...

This guy is probably going to see this post now and jack the price up.

I've seen this happen a few times on here, and once it was even my fault. I've seen several times, where someone posts a thread saying "check out this killer deal!!", and it turns out to be a pair of speakers that regularly sell for MUCH more than the sellers asking price. After several people post saying "I'd pay 4 times that much for those!!", I've seen the prices on the items go up.

Once, a pair of RTA11T's(IIRC), popped up for sale on CL for $50...and I posted saying something along the lines of "wow!...I see those sell for $200-250 all the time!"...and sure enough, a few hours later the price went up to $250.

All that being said, this is a great deal! Not the greatest condition...but that can be remedied.

POLK AUDIO SDA SRS 1.2 LEGENDARY - $1200 (concord / pleasant hill / martinez)

Here is a rare oportunity to own a set of these legendary speakers. Incredible imaging and sound. These can take take up to 1000 watts of power. I am currently running them using a Kenwood Basic M2A 250 WPC amp and they will go to ear splitting sound levels and they are just idling at that point. Almost 6 feet tall and 2 feet wide and 195 lbs. These are located in Concord Calif. The grills and wood are in top condition. All drivers work and includes the interconnect cable. I am having camera problems so no pic. If you know these speakers you know what they look like. Email me for an audition. To a good home only.
