Looks like a nice ride. I lived in VA for almost 10 years, but never made it to Kings Dominion...I'm sorry to say. The last amusement park I visited was Busch Gardens but that was about 15 years ago.

I haven't been in a couple of years now, only about 45 minutes north of PKD. We use to get season passes but after purchasing them we never seemed to go enough to have the passes pay for themselves so we stopped purchasing them and haven't really been back since. Not only that but seemed every time we went it was elbow to elbow of people and I don't do well in crowds, most of the younger crowds nowadays don't have the respect we were brought up on so I spend most of the time wishing I was young enough to correct them. Anyways, fun park, great rides and really good food as long as you don't mind paying for it.

Grim, go before the kiddies get outta school, the park was not crowded at all. Bush Gardens is the same way...crowded as hell in the summer.

    Hey KH,
Looks like you and your family had a great weekend! I don't know how you were able to take those shots being so high up. Put me on a 12' ladder and I'm clinging like a new born screech monkey. More power to you, my friend!

LOL.....they have a faux Effeil tower at the park....about 300' up with a lookout landing for park guests...it was pretty sweet.
