It might help us out if you told us where you got it?

Why would you want 4 of them if you don't know what speaker they are the appropriate crossover for?

At any rate, my guess (if that's what we are doing) is that they are from an S4 bookshelf speaker.

[EDIT] I take my guess back - since the picture caption says it's a Bose, then that's probably what it is??

    Well...the caption says Bose crossover....

If that's a Polk crossover though...I'm going to say that it's probably from a Circa 1991 Mini Monitor. The S4 is also a possibility.

Where can you get 4 of them? I doubt you can, short of buying 4 of the speakers that they came out of, and removing them.

What are you trying to do with them?

Hate to tell you, but it doesn't really work that way - you can't just pop a crossover into a cabinet that isn't at least similar to the originals, much less drivers that are probably of different impedence and frequency curve than what it was designed for.

Sell the Bose 501's, buy Polks, sit and listen.

    Hello Mhmacw,
You can find the S8 crossover schematic, posted by Dorokusai, in the Vintage section as a "sticky".
    Cheers, Ken

thanks ken. i must have skiped over it ill go look again. also, tony and zitro, thanks for the advice of getting polks but i already have and a bit finicky about what i add to my "keep" collection. i can assure you these 501s will not sit next to my 11t or 1c. i got them free and the woofers are done. the glass fuses and disk caps are shot. its going to be easier to set up a few crossovers and throw them in than all the proper research to set up a set of speakers i dont really care for. i bought 4 car sobwoofers so its going to be a home theatre sound anyway at the mom in laws place. thanks for the suggestions though if i was going to keep them id throw them out and get polks to match my others haha.
