    Every performed a freq measurement in your room? I bet some room treatments are needed.
    Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)
    Preamp: Joule Electra LA-150 MKII SE
    Amp: Wright WPA 50-50 EAT KT88s
    Analog: Marantz TT-15S1 MBS Glider SL| Wright WPP100C Amperex BB 6er5 and 7316 & WPM-100 SUT

    No I haven't yet, but the room (24'x12') is pretty dead with lots of stuffy furniture.Not much standing waves.Just LOTS of bass,all I could ask for.:D

    Understand but the bigger concern is dips and peaks. You may be over driving some freqs and not hearing others.

    For example

    Yes You're right there are dips and peaks(in the bass) So I pick where I want to hear from eg. heavy bass or lighter bass.The 100's sound good everywhere.

    Bass response is excellent,the biggest draw back is the excessive wall vibrations(clock wall) in particular.Don't know what I'm going to do about that,might just have to live with it.I don't think absorption material will prevent the vibration .
