Than 3D Coverage of the Masters Tourney!

Wow...it'll be awesome to watch and listen to people talk for 15 minutes between people actually hitting a ball!

I'd even prefer to see Nascar in 3D, since at least there's moving objects on the screen.

I bet that'd actually be pretty incredible, to see the swings in 3D, really see the ball pop against the sky and trees, see the sand flying through the air on those sand shots.

Though, admittedly, not the most exciting use of 3D.

Wow. I still have absolutely no desire to get into 3D...lol

3D golf? Seriously? I'm gonna go to the store and jam a knife through the screen of every 3D TV I see if 3D golf is the best they've got to offer.

Avatar must be old news now...so we're on to GOLF!!!! Nothing even happens in golf!! They're just standing there!!

Now don't take me wrong...I actually enjoy golfing quite a bit, and go at least a few times a year. Watching golf though? No thanks.

I think golf and other sports would be the only reason (for me) to get 3D. That just seems cool!

Why? So you can fall asleep while watching golf in 3D?:p

I'd imagine those 3D glasses wouldn't feel too good after being pressed against the side of your head for 3 hours during a nap...lol

Seriously...Golf is at the top of my "boring as ****" scale when it comes to watching a sport. Just above Nascar. Although Nascar isn't a sport...w/e.

Being an avid golfer, I would assume that it would allow me to analyze swing path, hip rotation, ball flight, etc. better. . . Not saying that I've never fallen asleep watching golf!!! I just think it would be kind of cool. . . Then 10 minutes later I would probably get sick of wearing the glasses:D

That's the big thing for me.

I can't see myself going to a football party, and wearing 3D glasses the whole time. I go up to one of my friends houses a lot to watch football games, and there's always a bunch of beer drinking going on, and generally just hanging out with a bunch of friends. I couldn't see myself wearing 3D glasses in that situation. I might not be looking directly at the TV the entire time.

What happens if you're wearing 3D glasses and look away from the screen? Does everything you see look all distorted?

watching 3D golf, no. Playing golf yes.

Something better to use 3D tech for, big yes.

and if I'm watching something and I am so bored with it all I notice are the glasses, then its time for a different program.

dimensionality of the ball would be difficult if it got too far from the camera.

I'm holding out for LOTR, or at least Wild Things. (or the equivalent in the age of 3D)
