Upgrade from T15 bookshelf
I am wanting more out of my bookshelf speakers and am thinking about upgrading from my T15's. The tallest I can fit will be 11", so that limits me to the Monitor 30 and the TSi100.... What are the differences between these two models (they look almost identical to me), and will I notice much of an improvement from the T15's that I currently have hooked up. I hooked up a pair of R40's and realized that the T15's are lacking in a lot of areas (I know towers vs. bookshelves is not fair).
I am running them off of a Pioneer VSX-518 which is more of an entry level "rated" at 120w per channel....for reference, just in case you want to say that I won't notice a difference from this unit.
Oh, and my center is the CS10 and the sub is the PSW505.

Well the Monitor and TSI are almost the same speaker, some differences, though I haven't listened to the TSI so I cant say exactly what but since you have the CS 10 I would go with the TSI since the CS 10 is the matching center.Main 2ch -
BlueSound Node->Ethereal optical cable->Peachtree Audio Nova 150->GoldenEar Triton 2+
TT - Pro-ject Classic SB with Sumiko Bluepoint.
TV 3.1 system -
Denon 3500 -> Dynaudio Excite 32/22 -

Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking, and leaning more towards the TSi since it matches my CS10.... I was just caught by the price of the 30's and starting guessing myself. I signed up for the Demo of the TSi100, I don't know if I want to wait that long! -
Well, I went and listened to the TSi100's vs. the T15's at my local best buy and decided that they would be well worth the upgrade and was going to get the pair from a fellow polkie here..... but I was concerned with the depth of them (they are a lot deeper than the T15's) so I made a replica out of poster board and tried to fit them where the T15's are........ no chance of getting them to fit! I am glad I made the replica (my wife is too), but now I don't think I have any upgrade options!
I noticed a HUGE difference in sound quality when listening to 2 channel, but not really anything with a movie since the center takes so much of it on. I listen to a lot of music and this is why I am looking to upgrade.
Any thoughts?? Other speakers to look at this will keep in the 11" H x 7" W x 8" D size?
