WTB: SL6506 Tweeters for RT1000p's

Just picked up a pair of RT1000p's from a guy who took the jumpers off the binding posts back in '98 when he bought them because he thought they were "packing". So the subs have never been played....And he never even noticed LoL!

Anyway, I assume he was trying to crank some of that bass out o fthe mid's because one of the SL6502 tweets is blown. (again; he didn't have a clue).
I paid him $180 for the pair.

So, I need to replace the blown tweeter, and Customer service gave me the superceding part No. SL6506, which they say are in stock. Thought I'd check here first and see if anyone has some for sale, and could maybe answer some other questions...

-How do the SL6506's compare to the SL6502's
-I heard that the tweeters and crossovers were changed when Polk went to the RT1000i series; should I swap the crossovers (or mod the current ones) to teh RT1000i series if I get the SL6506's? Anyone know if the SL6506's are the tweeters in the RT1000i's?
-Any clue on why the crossover was changed for the RT1000i's; was it to match the new tweets, or to "improve" the RT1000P freq. response?
