I have an Onkyo TX-SR805 on the way and I am worried about the recommended power for my speakers. I have RC65i's(Recommended Amplifier Power 20-100 w/channel) for my side surrounds, FXi A4's(Recommended Amplifier Power 20-125 w/channel), and Atrium 45's( Recommended Amplifier Power 10 - 80 w/channel). I know the front 3 will be fine(RTi10's & CSi5). As you know the 805 puts out 130 per channel.
This may be a dumb question but, am I going to be at risk of blowing these speakers? Any advice would be appreciated.
It's all in the detail.

HT Setup:
Samsung PN50D550
Onkyo TX-SR805
Samsung BD-D6700
Fronts: RTi10's
Center: CSi5
Side surrounds: RC65i's
Rear surrounds: FXiA4's
Sub: Velodyne CT120
Outdoor: Atrium 45's

You are better off with more power from the amp than less power.

The bigger danger to speakers is an under powered amp and a user that likes to 'crank it up' to the point where the amp can no longer provide clean power and goes into distortion. Distortion & clipping the audio signal going to your speakers is what will damage your tweeteres.

    Been there...done that...several times.:(

Your set up should be fine - unless you like going to 'stupid loud' ;)

Thanks Erik. I do 90% HT so, I don't crank it up to deafening levels.

Enjoy the sonic goodness! Beware though...once bitten by the upgrade bug you are doomed! :D
