TRITIUM WORLD CLASS STATE OF THE ART TURNTABLE & AIR BEARING TONE ARM
Superbly designed turntable for a lifetime of musical pleasure The culmination of 30 years of research and development.
Viscous damped in the vertical and horizontal plane.
Damping takes place at the head shell for maximum control.
Undamped tonearms have a colored presentation from vibrations set up in the headshell and Vinyl LP by the needle.
Their sound is far from what is possible from the Vinyl LP format.
Undamped tonearms are the "also ran" or "not even in the ball park" in terms of fidelity, tracking and Vinyl wear.
Tritium's Tonearm is a perfect design for Medium to High compliance cartridges and gives a 10 to 12 hertz tonearm resonance frequency.
Low compliance cartridges are typically heavier to compensate for the stiff cantilever suspension.
Light weight Low compliance cartridges can be easily optimized on the Tritium arm with additional tonearm mass.
Tonearm weighs about 34 Grams with this 8 gram cartridge and has a 10 hertz tonearm resonance frequency.
( VTA ) Vertical Tracking Alignment adjustment is an Allen screw on top of the Tonearm pivot.
This alters VTA + or - 1 degree per 1/2 rotation.
Air fitting mounted on the side is the "Air manifold input"
