WANTING SDA or SRS

Time to upgrade my monitor 7, to a larger more capable speaker for home theater..
I would like to buy some SDA or SRS series these are very hard to find here near portland OR, i will travel about 300 miles

please let me know if you have some for sale for a FAIR price
i would do part trade of my upgraded monitor 7

    Keep your eyes open. I was wanting some last year but thought I'd never find any close enough to me here in British Columbia but then a pair popped up here on Club Polk. They are probably the best fully modded, fully rebuilt and refinished SDA-1C's anywhere. I bought them off Geoff727 in Seattle Wa. He lovingly restored these speakers with amazing precision and detail and even met me in Abbotsford BC to deliver them last July. If you put it out into the universe that you want some, they will materialize. Ok, maybe that's too new age but "seek and ye shall find".

    Have you looked in your backyard as there is a listing for SDA-SRS 2.3s available local to you. There is a link to them that I’ve posted here.

    BTW, the Onkyo gear is a nice bonus!

    You MAY get lucky on a set of SDA-1c's at that price but any SDA-SRS will be at least twice that amount. The only exceptions tend to be the 3.1Tl's and the SRS2's.

    There used to be a audiophile store in downtown Portland that specialized in used high end audio. It was located two blocks south of Powells (Burnside) but not sure if it is still there. They might pick up the amp and pre from this package deal.

    Hello rolling18,

    I tried to send you a PM earlier in the week as I closed on a deal for a pair of speakers in the Portland area.
    rolling18 has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

    In doing so, I need to part with my SDA-1As to make some room. The price I am looking for is under your budget and I could transport them to your door if needed. I scheduled pickup for the other speakers later in the month, but I could make an earlier trip if needed. If not I travel to Portland about once a month due to work as my employer is based in Tualatin.

    Shoot me a PM if you are interested. I also split time at the Seattle office and I could get my Pop who lives in Arlington to pickup bikerboy's SDA-2As from Monroe and get them down to you as well.

    i when you telling me the models you have i need to know the drivers in the cabinet as i have seen soo many different types depending on year and a, b. c ect..

    Just a heads up in case you missed these, but a pair of SDA-1C Studios
    popped up in Portland yesterday. Not a screaming deal and a tad over your budget, but still not that bad, especially for a local sale.

    BTW, concerning my SDA-1As they are stock, more specifically transition models from SDA-1s, with no raised bezel on cabinet face, but contain SL1000 Tweeters, MW6501 Stereo/Dimensional Drivers and SW120 PRs.
