I've been told you can spray it on your johnson and it has a lower drag coefficient than KY. A lot of folks switched to WD-40 when they found out Crisco was shortening.

It's 1/3 of the total redneck essentials.

It's great when combined with a brillo pad to make your steel muffler look brand new. Got a pain in the **** light bulb that's always a bear to remove? Spray just a bit on it next time and see how easy it becomes. It also makes the best bug and tar/asphalt remover I have ran across in my travels. Got a key that always sticks in your front door? I'm sure you can tell by now what to do.

I use this stuff all the time for a multitude of various and strange reasons....but it works so what else could you ask for? Not recommended to thin down spaghetti sauce though....

It attracts dirt/dust, I wouldn't use it on anything electrical. That's where Deoxit comes to the rescue.

Drano sounds OK, but you can keep any Brads you have in the basement.

    I don't think George has a basement.

He has several closets though. But I'd hate to think of the implications of Brads coming out of closets.

    Who's Brad, anyway?

I hit it with a hammer

Hit that with a hammer too

I prefer the hammer. It's much more economical because a hammer can be used many more times than I can shake a stick at. WD-40, once the can runs out, you're screwed.

Bah! Me and the vicegrip wr-10 laugh at the hammer.
It can remove screws, bolts, stuck locks, and pound nails.

    WD-40 and grapefruit juice.

I love the smell of WD-40 in the morning.

I can't drink grapefruit juice, it interferes with the mood stabilizers. Straight up for me.

Indeed! But be careful of too much generated friction. WD-40 has a low flash-point.

You beat me to it. I use it on our Deere product sometimes. Doesn't take much to keep a Deere in shape, afterall nothing runs like a Deere.

I was fluke fishing off the Jersey coast and while talking to a couple old timers they gave me a fluke fishing tip. They said to spray a little WD-40 on the bait before dropping the line/bait in the water. I didn't do it but those two guys caught a batch of fluke. However, my fishing partner won the pot by catching the largest fluke of the day.

We did the same thing sturgeon fishing in the Columbia. Doubles your bite rate. Works for salmon too.

WD-40 is great at cleaning barbecue grills. You just remove the grill, spray with WD-40, wait a few minutes, wipe clean, and wash with soap and water.

Why waste time with soap and water, just use a match.
