Just built myself one of these. Comparing it with the filter on a Headroom amp, it sounds about the same to me. :D Great news as Headroom products are great, but not cheap.

I build a headphone amp once with built in crossfeed. Now I wish I had made it switchable.

You can't control what people do in the studio. I've come to notice that about half of my music already has crossfeed applied.

I've also found a crossfeed option in winamp. I very much like this feature when I whip out the cans!

My headphone amp is now dusty and probably leaking battery acid... ;)

I'm looking at making it switchable, but haven't stuck it in an amp yet anyway, so there is a still time to tinker. I'm trying to find a good tube setup that I want to stick with.

I've found that some recordings do have a little crossfeed built in, but I haven't heard the physical crossfeed filter negatively effect any recordings.

Feel free to send it to me if you have time on your hands. :D

I installed a simpler version of the circuit(without bass boost)into my DAC/Headphone amp so far I'm satisfied with the results.
