Once again, I am turning to Club Polk for help to get pointed in the right direction prior to making a new acquisition.
I have decided to acquire a new sub for my 2-channel rig. Right now I am utilizing a Polk PSW450 (12 inch) powered sub. It works fine. However it simply has too imposing of a footprint for our living room. Therefore, I am hopeful that I can find a quality sub with a much smaller footprint. Smaller, the better.
I have been looking at the Velodyne MiniVee 8" and the Velodyne Optimum-8
If this helps, I am not a fan of house rattling booming base. I currently have the volume setting on the PSW450 set shy of 50%.
As always, that you kindly for your time and thoughts.
